Axemaster

AXEMASTER is an all original metal band currently signed with Pure Steel Records that combines elements of traditional, doom, and thrash metal to create a distinctive sound. The band has a long and established history that spans 3 decades and includes 9 official releases (with an additional 2 upcoming in 2017) on 4 different international labels, and has had music included on several compilations as well as in 2 movies. In 2014, the current version of Axemaster signed a worldwide record and publishing deal with Pure Steel Records from Germany and in 2015, released their latest full length album "Overture to Madness", which met with critical acclaim. The band has just finished all the studio work for their upcoming new album "Crawling Chaos", which will be released in 2017 in conjunction with a re-release of a collection of their material from the 80's as a vinyl record (both will also be with Pure Steel). Axemaster has performed with such acts as Grim Reaper, Sebastian Bach, and Riot; and shows they have played include Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse (Chicago), and Hollowfest (Delaware {twice}). Furthermore, the band's material has been played regularly on radio stations throughout the world since 1986, and during the same span of time has been featured in thousands of publications/websites from around the world, among which include "Metal Hammer","Rock Hard","True Metal Lives", and "Metal Bulletin". Axemaster's unique blend of styles has proven to be a combination that appeals to metal fans from 2 different generations, which has helped to allow the band to stand the test of time and remain strong after over 30 years.
