Axxess Imaging provides 2 to 3 day access to MRI, CT and CTA diagnostic imaging services and a radiologists report with 24 to 48 hours. We are associated with top hospitals providing excellent technologists and radiologists utilizing state-of the-art equipment. Since we have been working alongside the best medical minds in the field of radiology. We are currently working with the one top hospitals and Independent Health Facilities in the GTA. We have worked hard to be able to offer medical diagnosis to thousands of clients seeking timely access to the best imaging diagnostics. Under strict Ontario legislative guidelines, we are unable to provide Ontario residents with a health card (OHIP) imaging services for any vital organs or previous known decease pathology. We are able to process all scans, with a few minor exceptions, for out of province/country patients. PROSTATE AND ELEVATED PSA Axxess Imaging has recently received confirmation from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Health Services Branch that a MRI exam of the prostate for a patient with an elevated PSA level, who has not had a prior biopsy, is NOT an insured service covered by OHIP. Patients with an elevated PSA level who are at risk of developing prostate cancer are now able to pay privately for a prostate MRI.
