Sandra Dingée blends an artist’s creative vision with a gardener’s pragmatism. Throw in a photographer’s eye for capturing life through a lens and you’ve got a woman who plies her craft in the three aforementioned areas. Sandy’s art has taken on numerous forms: drawing and painting, lettering, designing brochures, books, T-shirts and greeting cards and such projects as creating a 10-foot by 8-foot ice sculpture of a fully-rigged sailing vessel, a 10-foot papier-mâché sea serpent and a sandcastle - all award-winners. Sandy is an alumna of Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, and has taken additional course work at various art associations, schools and drawing groups. She’s a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators
