Azimuth Governance Limited ("Azimuth") is a fiduciary services firm offering independent directors and related governance services to the alternative funds industry. Azimuth is an angular measure and when used as a celestial coordinate it is the direction of a star in the sky where the reference points to true north. It has been used in navigation since the 14th century to determine latitude and bearing and continues to be taught. As in our name, we aim to help our clients find their bearing and navigate ever changing conditions by providing active and engaged professionals with industry experience to act as independent directors in the alternative funds industry. We believe that engagement with investment managers both prior to and during our appointment to a board enables us to develop a deep understanding of their business model and needs. Azimuth Governance Limited is regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority ("CIMA") as it holds a Company Manager License. Each of our directors are registered with CIMA under the Director Registration and Licensing Act, 2014. We are members of industry associations including the Cayman Islands Directors Association and AIMA and are active volunteers for Help For Children and 100 Women in Finance among others. Azimuth became signatories of the Principles for Responsible Investment ("PRI") in 2020 and endeavors to ensure that the entities its directors govern are adhering to these PRI principles where practical.
