A subsiduary of Globelec and IPS WA, Azito Energie owns Ivory Coast's leading thermal power plant. Since its commissioning in Azito Thermal Power Plant has been successful on all accounts, reliably providing low-cost base load with high-availability power while efficiently using Côte d’Ivoire’s natural gas endowment. Today, thanks to its use of environmentally friendly technology, the power plant – with a current capacity of 300 megawatts that will increase to 427 megawatts after completion of the expansion project – is the most powerful, modern and efficient power plant in West Africa.
