AZURE LAZULI handbags are designed by minds + made by hands in downtown Toronto. Structured architectural forms are combined with bohemian detailing to create contemporary leather handbags that are sophisticated and versatile. Manufactured in Canada without the use of any machinery the handbags are made of exceptional quality. Each handbag is carefully constructed entirely by hand by experienced leatherworkers using traditional hand tooling techniques. AZURE LAZULI launched in 2019 at London Fashion Week with the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection. The London Fashion Week showcase included coverage by FAB UK magazine. The handbags have also been featured on The Social and Cityline which air on CTV, as well as other publications including Elle Canada, The Kit, The Toronto Star, The Loop, Style & Trashion UK, The Spectator, The Standard & NUVO Magazine. Founder + Creative Director, Ashley Phillips is a practising architect licensed in the province of Ontario. She worked at various architectural firms in Toronto and surrounding areas before starting AZURE LAZULI.
