B&P Products is a synthetics processing company located in Lommel, Northeastern Belgium. We're highly specialised in the development of moulds, the production of thermosetting parts, technical synthetics, injection moulding and pressing. Pressed thermoset products offer the advantages of strength and shape retention, caused by the creation of covalent bonds between the atoms of the thermosets during the heating process. The pressing of thermosets is cost-effective from very small batches to very large batches. The choice between pressing or injection moulding depends on the application. We can guide you to make the right choice between pressed products or injection moulding products. The complex shapes created by pressing, can also be produced by injection moulding. Granules or powder is heated up to become a viscous mass and injected into a mould under pressure. When the required pressure is attained, the mould is kept under this pressure for a period of time. This causes the material to spread out evenly across the entire mould with an equal pressure.
