BTech develops passive electronic components using advanced technologies, including Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). Our nano based ceramic capacitors combine the advantages of ceramic, tantalum and Ultracapacitors or Electric Double Layer Capacitor (EDLC). By using proprietary materials we have achieved electrode surface area of 813m2/g. In terms of specific capacity and specific energy our capacitors are comparable to Ultracapacitors. BTech capacitor advantages over Ultracapacitors (EDLC)* solid and stable dielectric * low profile form (dielectric as low as 17nm)* non polarized * operate at a wider range of voltage and withstand higher than nominal voltage * less temperature/capacitance dependency * higher specific power * operate at a wider range of frequencies * lower ESR * wider range of operating temperature BTech capacitors are a low cost, universal solution for today's demanding applications. Prototypes are scheduled for the second half of 2013 and will include our compact models - 2x5x5mm 80V and 2x5x5mm 10V.
