Run by solicitor Matt Himsworth and former footballer Fraser Franks, alongside Crystal Palace player Leigh Nicol, B5 Consultancy Limited is a unique consulting firm that offers support, analysis, reporting and education to help businesses, particularly in sport, to identify reputation, privacy and other risks at an early stage and to help create a culture that is risk averse, respectful and defensive. The firm works particularly with young sportsmen and women to offer mentoring, education, support and the guidance that is so dearly needed in an industry where the emotional and mental pressure, both on and off the pitch, is immense. The firm also works in identifying, anticipating and dealing with issues through knowledge, research and strategic advice both at board and first team level but also at Academy level - helping staff, parents and young players themselves to deal with the off the pitch strains and to help them to recover when things don't go as planned.
