THE BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION OF CRIMINOLOGY, FORENSICS AND PSYCHOLOGY The Association has been registered officially since the 11th of February 2014 with a decision of the District Court in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In accordance with the Association's founding objectives, it serves to: • To gather and unite in it's organizational forms all individuals (both professionals and non-professionals) who share and would like to work towards achieving the goals and objectives of the organization. • To provide a creative environment for preserving and developing the capabilities of its members. • To contribute to the development and dissemination of knowledge and experience of the members of the Association in the field of criminology, forensic science and psychology. • To develop research in the fields of criminology, forensic science and psychology. • To provide translations and dissemination of works and authors in the field of criminology, forensic science and psychology. • To help increase the professional qualifications of workers and students in the field of criminology, forensic science and psychology, by organizing seminars, workshops, lectures. • To carry out projects and develop action plans with which to compete for EU and local funding. • To work actively for the establishment of lasting cooperation with law enforcement authorities in preventing and combating crime, and protecting the civil rights and security of citizens in Bulgaria and the place of residence of all it's members, within all it's branch offices. • To assist in maintaining close relationships between related organizations from the Republic of Bulgaria and Member States of the European Union in the field of combating crime, national and international security. • To contribute to the development of democratic civil relations. • To promote the development and promotion of universal spiritual values.
