Bachi Amaa Foundation

The goal of the Bachi Amaa Foundation is to provide Financial help to helpless children in Nepal, especially in the areas of housing, the pursuit of basic living standards and education. Obtained results: 1) 2009: move to a bigger and better house 2) 2009: expansion of the shelter with the addition of 4 children 3) 2009: expansion of the board in the Netherlands and Nepal 4) 2009: 10 children are now being supported by the Anandaban Lepra School Fund in their education 5) 2009: registration of the NGO the Bachi Amaa Foundation in Nepal Current situation: 1) In the Bachi Amaa Foundation’s shelter there are currently 10 children being housed 2) The Bachi Amaa Foundation has formed ties with the Anandaban Lepra Hospital School Fund. This fund is contributing to the education of 10 children. These children either suffer from leprosy themselves or their parent(s) do. 3) The children of Bachi Amaa now live in a rental house in Kathmandu. Objectives 2010-2015: 1) Buying/building a suitable home for the children outside Kathmandu 2) Expansion of the shelter
