Opened in June 2012 and designed to bring a warm weather feel no matter the season, Back Deck takes the outdoors inside with floor to ceiling windows that slide open to let the breeze in as well as details like lantern and umbrella lights borrowed from the back porch, lush green planters and an evening sky-blue ceiling that evokes perfect patio bliss during the most bitter of Boston winters. Menu Back Deck serves polished takes on cookout classics as well as dishes cooked over an open flame at homes across the globe. Ninety percent of the menu is grilled on three top of the line hardwood charcoal grills hand-picked by Chef Paul Sussman to accommodate dishes like Cowboy Steak, Perfectly Grilled Chicken Breast and the delectable Back Deck S’mores. Relax on the decks with glasses or pitchers of signature cocktails such as the Back Deck Punch, Ginger Arnold Palmer, or a fresh locally brewed Back Deck lager.
