Backlight Media is a Toronto based production company whose goal is to develop and produce projects with purpose. We are passionate about filmmaking, storytelling, and creating, and are invested in building and shaping stories that resonate. Through story, we aim to unite and connect audiences and communities, no matter how big or small. We are passionate about philanthropic initiatives and are always looking for new ways to positively engage or extend the reach of those in need of support, growth, or recognition. Specifically, Backlight Media specializes in mini feature films and documentaries. Each project is accompanied by a sleek and multi-platform marketing campaign to engage and further entertain our audience. Project specific events also play a large roll in our production process, as we are always looking for new ways to collaborate with various communities to raise money and awareness for important causes we believe in. The Backlight Media team is comprised of dynamic and uniquely talented individuals; all with stand-alone skills that are united by a collective passion to captivate, educate, and entertain.
