Backpack Brands is a craft cidery located in Newburgh, New York. We are home to Graft Cider, Hudson North Cider Co, and Ritual Hard Kombucha. Each of our product lines is made with simple, all-natural ingredients that feel good and taste even better. We’ve worked hard to can an innovative, crisp flavor and unrivaled quality into everything we make. The concept behind Graft Cider was two-fold: paying respect to the old-world style of cider making while simultaneously experimenting with modern brewing techniques. All of Graft’s ciders employ century-old European traditions of using wild yeast and bacteria to ferment to dryness. They then harness the flavor profiles created from this style of natural cider and develop unique and innovative styles which take a nod from some of the best craft beer producers in the world. Hudson North Cider Co. is a hard cider that captures the wild side of the Hudson Valley. With only two-thirds the sugar content compared to our biggest competitors, this full-flavored and refreshingly crisp drink will make you feel as if you’re striding across those trails yourself! Plus, 10¢ from every gallon is donated back to protecting these amazing lands, so when you purchase a can, you're supporting an important cause. Each sip brings with it not just a unique flavor profile unlike any other but also a sense of belonging as part of something bigger than yourself – being part of a movement that helped preserve and maintain these trails for generations to come. Ritual Hard Kombucha is inspired by west coast kombucha, crafted for the east coast. Our intention is to make a delicious beverage using the best ingredients. Each brew is made with probiotic tea and organic fruit. We want to keep the good stuff alive, so we never pasteurize our kombucha.
