Badass Beat Boards™ began with a single product designed specifically for screenwriters. But the core long term mission of the company is to help writers of all kinds -whether they’re writing novels or business proposals- save time and stay focused. Co-founders Penelope Poole and Michael Midis, who met and swapped scripts in a Facebook screenwriting group early pandemic, designed the first Badass Beat Board to help themselves and other screenwriters better visualize their stories using their preferred outlining method. What evolved was a comprehensive toolkit and outlining system for screenwriters, with scores of choices to fit every writer’s preference and everything they need to get started with a structured story plan in one tidy box. We’re gearing up to launch on Kickstarter.
