As of May 2021, Renaissance Mergers & Acquisitions joins the audit, tax and advisory network, Baker Tilly Canada, as an independent member firm providing transaction services in Vancouver and coast to coast. Our name changes to reflect the Baker Tilly brand. The service excellence and client care our team offers will not change at all. Neither will fees. Though we will be adopting a new brand and becoming part of a countrywide network, we’ll maintain complete autonomy of both our day-to-day and long-term management. We will remain, legally and in practice, an independently owned and operated firm. On the plus side, as part of BT – and by extension, its global network, BT International – we will be able to augment the transaction services we offer clients, as well as our reach and connections, both nationally and around the world. Again, to clarify, the buy and sell-side transaction services our clients trust and the staff they engage with will not change. We will simply be able to provide our transaction expertise nationwide and offer additional services now to those interested (such as accounting or tax support etc.) via our network connections. All the members of BT are independent, but together as an association they are able to accomplish more. Access to nationwide/global resources, audit, tax and accounting services, as well as other specialty offerings, only enhances value for all our clients. We were drawn to BT because they embrace the same entrepreneurial spirit and deep commitment to local markets that we do, while embracing collaboration and shared resources.
