Baker Vilar Architects (BVA) is an architecture firm based in Emeryville, California. We place the utmost importance on the end-user as our client; many of whom are children, families, and members of the local community. Keeping this in mind and as our constant inspiration, we create spaces that are innovative, yet sensitive to the surrounding area, both contextually and environmentally. We believe that buildings of enduring quality respect the uniqueness of each client’s needs and the particularities of each site. We work together to create a unified vision and bring this vision into reality. As a firm that believes in the importance of being sensitive to the environment, we advocate the use of Sustainable Design practices. We design our buildings to meet LEED and CHPS (Collaborative High Performance Schools) standards whenever possible. Truth & Beauty are the core values of our firm.
