Ball Maritime Group

Ball Maritime Group was created in Savannah, Georgia by Jason P. Ball after a career of over 20 years as a Professional Engineer in the maritime community as well as nine years as a combat engineer officer in the Georgia Army National Guard. Jason's extensive education, including a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a Master Business Administration in Strategic Management from Mercer University have allowed him to create a distinct approach to solving challenges for his Clients. After graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Jason was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Engineer Regiment. He served in multiple expeditionary missions throughout the world, culminating in a successful military career as a service connected disabled veteran. Jason is a Licensed Professional Engineer with specialty disciplines in Port and Navigation Engineering. He provides clients with valuable professional services such as port planning, strategic economic forecasting, multi-disciplinary engineering, equipment acquisition support, construction management, and general consulting/strategy. Prior to starting Ball Maritime Group, Jason served nine years at a global maritime infrastructure engineering firm, where he was a Program Manager and Senior Project Manager for numerous programs along coastal Georgia and South Carolina and internationally totaling more than $7 billion. Prior to that, Jason completed ten years of service as a Project Manager and Engineer with a regionally based design firm specializing in site development for large residential, commercial, and industrial projects within coastal communities.
