Ballard Community Services

The Elizabeth B. Ballard Community Center is committed to ensuring that all children have access to an affordable, high quality early childhood education. Children learn better if they are not hungry, if they are not worried about what they will eat or if they will have a warm place to sleep. To this end, the Ballard Center provides "wrap-around" support to families through our food pantry, clothing closets, emergency assistance programs, and other initiatives managed through the Ballard Center and our partner organization, Penn House. By employing a therapist and a Director of Family Connections to offer children multiple levels of high quality care, we help kids grow into more stable, productive adults.
