Ballet Lounge® is an exciting new dance/fitness studio that offers unique and fun classes for dancers and aspiring-dancers alike! Participants not only learn how to dance, they also get a full body workout that improves flexibility, muscular strength, endurance and also develops poise and confidence. We also offer additional fitness classes to compliment your dance experience as well as provide one on one dance/fitness instruction. Our most popular class is Ballet Fit™ an aerobic style workout with a continuous flow of ballet movements all strategically choreographed to invigorating and beautiful music. Your experience consists of a series of exercises at the barre and in the centre followed by additional core and flexibility work. This is not your typical 'barre workout' or adult ballet class, it is so much more! Creator and Founder, Suzy Kaitman has an extensive background in professional ballet training from the School of Alberta Ballet and the University of Calgary's BA (Ballet) Dance Program. She is a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor who has a passion for movement, music and helping others live healthy & active lifestyles. She has over 15 years experience teaching ballet and fitness to a wide range of clients varying in age, abilities, injuries and goals. Suzy's high energy and positive attitude is contagious and her warm and supportive approach makes clients feel comfortable to overcome challenges. Suzy's vision is to revolutionize the adult dance/fitness experience by creating a unique, safe and fun environment, as well as provide high quality instruction that is accessible to anyone.
