Balloon Mission is a visionary non-profit group committed to honoring our human moments, celebrations, and remembrances, with thoughtful and responsible actions for a healthy planet. People enjoy balloons and we provide new ways to do so while safeguarding our environment. After the fun is done, pop-and-drop deflated balloons in our balloon bin. We make sure balloons don’t become plastic litter and find good end-of-use solutions for them. Key Goals- Engage children and families with inspiring outreach programs that raise awareness of the unintended harm balloons have on wildlife and the environment when they're set free into the sky-Provide people with responsible ballooning practices and alternatives for outside celebrations and remembrance ceremonies- Ensure balloons are properly disposed of through Balloon Mission's innovative collection program- Convenient balloon bins in schools, community, and event spaces - Create a circular economy by recycling/re-purposing balloons- Advocate and support legislation to ban intentional balloon releases- Install signs at parks & beaches to raise awareness about balloon releases and mitigate the practice- Promote and partner with Balloon Retailers and Designers committed to responsible balloon practices and safeguarding the environment.
