Bamboo Science Group is a social impact startup developing bamboo conversion technology to generate water filtration media and valuable chemical precursors, while empowering the developing world to overcome the clean water crisis. We have found a way for rural areas to receive clean water using bamboo that grows in their own backyard. Our patentable technology utilizes chemical extraction methods that allow us to harvest high surface area charcoal, from bamboo, which can be used as a water filtration media in numerous filtration systems. Furthermore, we also produce refined, plant-based, cost effective chemical byproducts that can be sold to numerous pharmaceutical and industrial companies worldwide. The core mission of our business is to help those in need by providing jobs, economic stability, village development, and, most importantly, clean water.
