History In 1981, Doriano Banchi and his son Massimo founded Carpet Boutique Srl to develop ready-made products from the family’s textile production. The company began transforming high-pile fabrics into carpets and special rugs under an authorized Walt Disney license. By the late 1990s, the company was renamed Banchi Maison Srl, expanding its production to include wool blankets, mattresses, and pillow covers for the domestic market. Distribution shifted toward special markets and commercial partners requiring customized production. At customers’ request, the company also started producing mattresses to complement its sleep product range. In 1998, Banchi Maison obtained SGS certification for ISO quality production processes. In 2007, the company received medical device authorization from the Italian Ministry of Health for products using memory foam with anti-decubitus properties. Today, Banchi Maison holds 75 medical device registrations, developed in collaboration with Italian physicians and universities, including anti-static, postural, and pain-relief systems. Since 2015, the company has operated in compliance with the European REACH Regulation, ensuring all products are free from chemical contamination and safe for workers and customers.
