Bandbox Ballparks
Drawing upon his three-decades devotion to architecture, sport and research, Chicago architect Brian Powers founded Bandbox Ballparks to catalogue and preserve our national sports architectural heritage aiming to tell the stories today so the legacies of sports venues can be enjoyed by generations of tomorrow. Using the latest in architectural software and virtual reality technology, Brian's exhibits allow fans to immerse themselves back into the seats of some of baseball's classic ballparks that have long disappeared from our urban cores. Chicago's Comiskey Park, Cleveland's League Park and Cincinnati's Crosley Field are among the projects have been featured in many publications and displayed in venues such as the Baseball Heritage Museum in Cleveland, Ohio and the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
