Our aesthetic is informed by elegance and simplicity, surpassing the transience of trends, in the hope that you will wear the pieces for years to come. BAR is handmade by skilled artisans who are treated with respect and paid a fair wage. Positive, ethical and sustainable practice are central to the brand ethos. Even small choices are carefully considered, ensuring that they are responsible and not harmful to the environment. Founder Sophie Mckay has worked as a fashion designer in London and Milan for various luxury brands and continues to consult within the fashion industry. BAR Jewellery is the result of a passion for vintage jewellery and a desire to prompt positive change in the fashion industry. Sophie's connection with the vibrant and fast paced world of fashion, alongside a love of art, architecture and contemporary culture, serve as constant sources of inspiration for the brand.
