Barakfarm Kft. was created to support the employment of the beneficiaries of Kalunba Nonprofit Kft. Its goal, beside the employment of the Beneficiaries, is to finance specific development programs from the profit resulting from the company's activity. In spring 2022, Kalunba began implementing a one-of-a-kind integration program in cooperation with the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid, which was financed by HEKS, an organization funded by Swiss protestant communities. As Kalunba is a specialist in complex programs (which include housing, language education, school-integration and individual development services), it was obvious for us that the employment of most our Beneficiaries, most of whom are forced to take positions below their competence levels, would only be possible through work agencies. Therefore, we have managed to get Barakfarm Kft. certified to carry out these functions. Due to the current crisis in Ukraine, we mostly work with Ukrainian workers at the moment, but our job advertisements have attracted a large number of Hungarian and Indian potential employees as well. As we are specialists of complex programs, we place a huge emphasis on the training of our workers parallel to the labor market's demands. We aim to have good partnership with our partners and strive to be flexible and meet their needs. We have excellent relations in the Middle East as well as in India and Pakistan, and we also expect to lead more highly qualified employees to their potential employers.
