Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to cope with it BARDASHT was created to combat violence and the numerous problems that come with it. The escalating injustice, terror and extremism in our society were a clear indicator of what the future would bring. As responsible and conscientious citizens of Pakistan, we are all bound by a joint responsibility to actively fight against violence. Tolerance is not synonymous to being submissive; instead it means to accept the ones who are unlike you in terms of class, color, principles or religion. BARDASHT works to build a more tolerant, responsible and peaceful society by focusing on those clusters of our community which have been torn apart due to many kinds of prejudices. It achieves its objectives through several means such as awareness campaigns, curriculum intervention, fund-raising, rehabilitation projects, workshops/seminars, and skill-development training centers. At BARDASHT, we believe that everyone has the right to a more peaceful world.
