We are the Bark’s, and we’re writing on behalf of Barkstrong, Inc. Our organization fundraises to aid military veterans who are recovering from physical and emotional trauma. Our organization, to date, has donated to 4 Paws for Ability. Specifically, we partner with 4 Paws for Ability, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that trains service dogs. Our donated money has helped 26 veterans and/or a veteran’s family member over the past seven years. 4 Paws for Ability helps veterans rebuild their lives after an injury to regain physical independence and offer emotional support which plays a significant role during their transition back to civilian life. Our service dogs specialize in assisting veterans with mobility issues or hearing loss resulting from combat injuries, including limb loss, balance problems, spinal injuries, and deafness. 4 Paws for Ability status under the 501©3 registration can be found at https://charitableregistration.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/charities/Research-Charities.aspx Barkstrong, Inc. was formed in October 2016 after our son, Brandon, was killed in a terrible car accident. He was weeks away from boot camp. In Brandon’s honor, we desire to help create a loving and supportive environment for disabled military veterans to live a healthy life. To make a difference, we rely solely on the support and donations of generous community individuals and businesses. We cannot do this without your dedication to helping those who have sacrificed so much. Our main fundraiser is a golf outing. On August 23, 2025, we will be hosting our 8th Annual Brandon Bark Memorial Golf Outing at Yankee Trace Golf Club in Centerville, Ohio.
