Barnendometriosfonden

The main objective of the Child Endometriosis Foundation is to prevent and fight endometriosis in children and adolescents. Our wish is to raise awareness of endometriosis not only being a disorder in women, but one that has its onset already when these women are in their teens, thus making it a children’s disorder as well. The trust fund is reliant on fundraising for our work to improve the health care as well as the day-to-day life of these children and their families. Our goal is to create an infrastructure that ensures early intervention and diagnosis for these children. We also wish to change attitudes, and increase the status of endometriosis and how it is perceived within the medical field. We aim to fill in the knowledge gap that we believe still exists. This is done through lectures and information material as well as by exerting influence in various contexts.
