How we started Base Impact was started due to a lack of balanced, easy to read and honest articles available in the sport science community. We wanted to create a resource that was available to all S&C’s and sport scientists on every level - from University students to experienced practitioners. Due to the increasing demands of working with athletes often there is little time to go and read multiple research papers, the latest books and CPD courses. We wanted to create a place where resources were available, quick, easy and tailored to your needs. For us, honesty plays a big role in who we are. We want to help you with resources that allow you to reach your base goals as a practitioner which will positively impact your athletes performance. It is why we are called Base Impact - provide you with the foundations to have meaningful change in your athletes Our Aim Provide practitioners with the base knowledge in the latest literature to maximise their impact when working with athletes. Our Content Our resources are concise biweekly and weekly Articles, data science tricks, podcasts, videos and social media posts to prime you with succinct and informative resources you can access when you are working, on the go or have some time to sit down and relax. Our Team With our team coming from clinical, elite sport and research areas of sport science, we have a wide range of experience and differing knowledge bases which allows us to provide you with experts in a range of Sport Science fields.
