Smart Microgrid Rooftop Solar Solution using Hybrid Appliances. A total packaged solution to run Room Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Fans and Lights directly from Solar Panels. No battery or inverter is required. A grid controller (iGrid) monitors the power available in the panels as well as the load demand and runs them from DC of the panel directly when adequate power is available. In case the power is less, as many appliances as possible are run from DC and the rest from AC Mains. In night times when no sunshine is available all the appliances run from AC mains. Even here at least 50% energy savings accrue. All the equipments present near unity power factor to the grid.
