Basilica Hudson

Basilica Hudson is a non-profit multidisciplinary arts center in Hudson, NY, supporting the creation, production and presentation of independent and innovative arts and culture while fostering sustainable community. Founded in 2010 by musician Melissa Auf der Maur and filmmaker Tony Stone, Basilica Hudson makes its home in a spectacular solar-powered reclaimed 1880s industrial factory on the waterfront of the historic City of Hudson, that was recently renovated to strip it of its fossil-fuel-dependent core, and updated to state-of-the-art green energy practices — and so the building becomes the teacher. Known for its marquee weekend destination events — 24-HOUR DRONE, SoundScape, Farm & Flea — Basilica Hudson now also programs a Thursday-night summer music program, film screenings series, art exhibitions, green-focused programming, and other community gatherings meant to create engagement with new ideas a safe, accessible experience for all.
