I grew up in San Sebastian, a great place to live for someone who loves good food. I come from a family that was obsessed with food and I remember food and wine always being sent directly to our home from the producers. I lived 25 years abroad (in Germany, Scotland and England) and wherever I was I found the same problem. Every time I tried to find Spanish products either the quality was nowhere near as good as back home, or if it was, the prices were far too high compared to the prices in Spain.
