BASREC (Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company) is one of the Gulf’s most established and trusted ship repair and marine engineering facilities. Founded in 1962 and strategically located at Mina Salman Port, BASREC boasts over six decades of experience in vessel maintenance and engineering solutions. Its facilities include a newly commissioned floating dock (BASREC 2) with a capacity of 5,500 tons, 132 meters in length and 43 meters in width, along with extensive berth-side repair areas, modern workshops, and a dedicated Small Boat Repair Division. BASREC provides a comprehensive range of services including ship repair, steel fabrication, engine overhaul, blasting and painting, pipe fitting, and welding.
