Today, the Bata Shoe Organization is a sprawling global company with operations in over 75 countries worldwide. It serves more than 150 million customers annually, employs over people, operates a network of over 5,300 retail outlets, and has a retail presence in more than 70 countries. Additionally, the organization manages 21 manufacturing sites. In Bangladesh, Bata operates over 230 retail outlets, spanning across 63 cities, and collaborates with approximately 25 distributors in its non-retail sector. Bata Bangladesh also oversees two manufacturing facilities, located in Tongi and Dhamrai. As the leading manufacturer and retailer in the country, Bata holds the largest market share in the footwear sector of Bangladesh.
