BATI HOME was founded in 2010 by Fayat Genç in Izmir. It’s based group of architects, builders, and thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, interior design, furniture, product design, research and development. Our approach is to make a minimal spiritual architecture which transmitting a language that is implied in the space not the monastic, sense and essence of art that move to plenty of space by questions: How much can we strip away from an item without losing its essential purpose and identity? Can we keep things simple enough to close but not quite? We believe that an open dialogue with the surrounding environment to decide the most essential materials for the construction leads to create a relationship between building, site and user. We aim to make a balance between nature, light, forms, details of materials, space, place and humanitarian priorities to achieve integrated expression and satisfaction in addition to find a form of harmonizing environmental urban life. We discuss the potential advantages of our approach for forging positive social relationships and designing an autonomous agent with minimal cognitive architecture.
