Batley Grammar School

Batley Grammar School (BGS) is a state-funded co-educational free school in Batley, West Yorkshire, for young people aged 4 to 16. Our aim is to nurture our young people in a caring educational environment, enabling them to grow into confident, respectful, independent and successful learners. Therefore equipping them with the depth of character and enthusiasm necessary to aspire, thrive and prosper in the future. As an all-through school, we strive to ensure that the experience our learners have at secondary school builds on the excellent foundations from primary school, for them to further develop their educational journey.
