Battle Born Academy

Battle Born Academy cultivates a community of joyful students who lead their own learning, care for themselves and their community, and actively contribute to a better world. Battle Born Academy is a K-8 school, opening with grades K-1 & 5-6 in Fall 2022. BBA will serve downtown Las Vegas, zip codes 89101, 89104, and 89106. Educational equity has the power to transform our community. Right now, the status quo is educational inequity; systems and structures that routinely disadvantage students based on race and socioeconomic status. At Battle Born Academy, we believe that it is not enough to simply re-create new schools built on the same foundations that have led to this inequity. Instead, it is our mission to cultivate a community of joy - a liberatory, transformational future for all students. Through student-led learning, social-emotional development, trauma-informed practices, and individualized instruction, Battle Born Academy delivers a rigorous, holistic education for students in Las Vegas.
