Bay Area Early Steps

Early Steps provides services to infants and toddlers, age birth-3, with developmental disabilities or delays. We help families build on their child's individual strengths and provide support to meet the child's unique needs. Services will support children in their communities where they live, learn and play. Bay Area Early Steps is the Local Early Steps branch servicing Hillsborough and Polk counties. We are located at USF Health Pediatrics in Tampa, FL. Why are our services important? Research shows that children's earliest experiences play a critical role in brain development. Early Steps costs? There is no income requirement to qualify for the program. Families are not charged for services.
