Bazaruto Renewables develops renewable energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our aim is to unlock renewable energy potential in Sub-Saharan Africa by (co-)developing bankable renewable energy projects across a subset of technologies and countries. Bazaruto considers projects at all stages of development. While our main technological focus is hydro (run-of-the-river) and wind, Bazaruto explores techno-economically viable project development opportunities in solar. Bazaruto currently holds development rights to a portfolio of renewable energy projects in countries in Eastern and Southern Africa, each at various stages of the development cycle. Our strategic goal is to successfully develop a sizeable and diversified portfolio of renewable energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa within this decade.
