Founded in 1947 by Raymond P. Oglesby, Oglesby Plants International (OPI) has been actively pursuing excellence in horticulture for over 70 years. Since the 1970’s, OPI has been leading the way in Plant Tissue Culture. In 1990, Ray Oglesby was inducted into the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame for his pioneering work in plant tissue culture. For over 40 years, Oglesby Plants International has spearheaded a breeding program with a focus on introducing disease and insect resistant to ornamental plants.
