Our President, Brian Barton, worked for the largest pest control provider in Canada as a service manager for 15 years prior to starting BBD in 2009. We started BBD Thermal (Bed Bug Detectives) and specialized in bed bug detection and eradication using ONLY green treatment methods. In fact, BBD Thermal Remediation was nominated as a finalist for ‘Innovative Business of the Year’ in 2019 with the Halifax Chamber of Commerce – a nomination that we worked very hard for and are extremely proud of! Based on the success of BBD and BBD Thermal Remediation and the eco-friendly treatment methods we use, we decided to expand our service offerings to include full service pest control.
