Ada Markman holds an MBA degree (Information Systems) from Rekanati Business Management School, as well as BSc, Cum Laude, in Management & Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Her professional career includes leading innovative IT projects in the Israeli Military Industries and in Motorola Communications Ltd. In 1997 Ada joined Vocaltec communications as corporate CIO, leading process improvement programs worldwide, and built a global IT system. Between 2002 and 2009 Ada held a senior VP and CIO position in Phoenix Insurance, leading a major renewal program of the IT division, as well as numerous IT projects including strategic IT program to replace core insurance and finance systems, based on tight cooperation with the business, new technologies, and modern methodologies. Ada was recognized by People & Computers Magazine as one of the 10 most influencing women in the IT indsutry and Woman of the Year in the insurance industry. In 2009, Ada has established BDA-Projects, a consulting company specializing in state of the art methodologies like Lean Software Development, Lean-IT, as well as Strategic IT consulting.
