In 2011, she took a leap of faith and created what’s known today as the Be Kekoa salon and healthy haircare brand. At the center of Be Kekoa is the ethos that women with curly hair deserve real solutions—even for the toughest curly hair problems. The recent addition of the 5-Step Curl Healing Kit reflects this mission, offering a kit to soothe, nurture, moisturize, and enhance natural curls. Be Kekoa’s salon professional-focused product line is full of clean, natural, and hydrating ingredients. These ingredients encourage natural bounce and moisture to bring out the best in curls and include a clarifying shampoo, cleansing conditioner, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and rose water mousse.
