Be the Light Media is a visual media production company producing both fiction and documentary subject matter. Since 2013, Lori Reimer has served as executive producer by securing finances via grants, venture capital, angel investors and Kickstarter ventures. Our visual media production company produces original content for streaming video services, broadcast television and theatrical outlets. We have numerous projects at various stages of development that focus on exposing the destructive pressures upon the majority given the current socio-political environment. We strive to create dramatic visual content that addresses the universal challenge of humankind's search for meaning, purpose and answer to life. Faith is a theme threaded throughout all of our productions. Faith is explored by explicit, implicit or ambiguous means. Faith found in others. Faith in leaders. Faith in love. Faith in hope. Faith in self. Faith in something greater than all, despite “all signs point to no.” We are non-faith specific but wish to explore how faith unifies and manifests hope despite multitudes of thought-differences. Strong focus on unique characters pulled into a journey in search of an answer to defeat the external and internal fears that plague their minds with regret, worry and hopelessness. Drama at its greatest is when an individual must face their greatest fear to defeat the life-threatening conflict that has prevented them from living authentic lives. Life holds no guarantees and when a character’s choice interactively becomes the viewers, faith then becomes a shared transformative experience. At Be the Light Media, our mission is to create empowering visual media that fosters self-education and nurtures the desire to empower oneself to betterment long after the end credits have rolled.
