BEAM is a small business accelerator focused on preserving and growing Main Street businesses through mergers, acquisitions, and succession planning. We identify established companies—often at risk of closure due to retirement or ownership transitions—and help new owners step in to keep those businesses alive. By providing strategic support, coaching, and technical assistance, we ensure these businesses remain vital parts of their communities. BEAM’s model addresses both sides of the supply chain equation. We cultivate top-performing local businesses while helping anchor institutions assess and refine their spending practices—ensuring more opportunities and economic impact remain within the region.
