Bean & Bread is a plant-based coffee shop and bar in the market town of Abergavenny. A whopping 80 per cent of our menu is vegan, so veg- centric visitors have plenty of choice while those with broader eating habits still get to incorporate eggs and chorizo into their brunch. If you’re not doing dairy, you’ll find a selection of alt milks to pair with our house espresso from Origin coffee roaster's or simply go black, courtesy of a monthly-changing guest espresso from roaster's all over the UK. Speciality drinks include turmeric, matcha and beetroot lattes, while freshly blitzed juices further fortify the liquid offering. Founder Jessica Fletcher was inspired to open a place of her own after living in New Zealand and antipodean creativity runs through both the speciality coffee and slick interior decor. Grab a spot on the long communal table or settle down in one of the Scandi-style armchairs and drink in the good vibes.
