Beats Radio is Calgary's ONLY Dance and Electronic Radio Station. With top 40, alternative, rock, oldies and country music dominating the radio waves in Calgary, Beats Radio is hoping to change all of that. Since its launch in April of 2011, Beats Radio has made huge strides in Calgary's electronic and dance music community. Providing non-stop music with zero commercials allows people from all over the world to stay connected with the latest and greatest in electronic and dance music. Aside from playing music, Beats Radio is also focused on being actively involved in Calgary's local music scene. By working with event promoters, Beats Radio is able to stream live local events, feature DJs and producers, both local and international, on a weekly segment, and provide podcasts for upcoming events. Beats Radio also streams live from Exchange Social Club every Saturday night, where their resident DJs spin the best in dance and electronic music. There is a great demand for an electronic radio station in Calgary, and Beats Radio hopes to supply that demand.
