BEC was formed in 2001 to serve the hard disk drive (HDD), and spin torque transfer random access memory (STT-RAM) industries by providing technologists with process and metrology solutions necessary for the development and production of these technologies. Since the inception of the company, BEC has successfully branched into serving other industries including but not limited to Semiconductor, Magnetic Sensors, Solar, MEMS, Microfluidic, LED, OLED and Research.
