The Heated Open Air Swimming Pool in Beccles, next to the River Waveney. News: Twitter: Blog: Pics: Videos: Our 30 x 15 metre pool and separate toddler pool are both heated, we have lots of paved and grassy areas for sunbathing, as well as picnic tables and chairs. We have a giant inflatable (please phone ahead for times when it will be in use) and a 1 metre spring board. There is a well stocked kiosk serving hot and cold snacks, ice creams, cold drinks and a delicious range of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. There is a small car park adjacent to the Lido as well as extensive parking nearby and in the town. We have excellent facilities for disabled swimmers (please phone ahead for details or with any special requirements). Open from the Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend until the middle of September, Beccles Lido is the perfect place to come for an early morning swim or for a family day out (please visit our website for full opening dates and times. Beccles Lido Limited is a not-for-profit company set up by the community to manage the Lido. We continue to raise additional funds, both to maintain and improve the Lido, as well as to fund ongoing running costs.
